Jozenji-dori is a 700 meter, tree lined street in downtown Sendai. A popular scenic spot, it is loved by both locals and visitors. The beautiful zelkova trees are beautiful in any season, and throughout the year, the promenade is host to several festivals including the Aoba Festival, Tanabata Festival, Street Jazz Festival and Starlight Festival.
